The invitation

What if a small poem could reach the oldest ache?

Salt & Honey lives in the tender place where love meets a wounded heart, the place most of us learn to walk around rather than through. These pages will not ask you to be finished healing. They ask you to sit down, breathe out, and let something sweet find you exactly where you are.

Some of it is salt, the grief that keeps no schedule, the brine of a season when nothing bloomed, the tears you took yourself out to the ocean to hide. Some of it is honey, the return of desire, the shock of being wanted again, the slow and unglamorous rebuilding of self-trust.

You need both to taste anything at all.

Inside the book

Four movements, salt to honey

The collection unfolds the way a heart actually mends, not in a straight line but in seasons. Read it front to back, or open it at random and let the page choose you.

One

The Dry Season

The long stretch where nothing arrives. Grief without ceremony, wanting without an object, and the strange dignity of surviving a year you cannot explain to anyone.

Two

Coming Back to the Body

Where self-trust is rebuilt one small kept promise at a time. Poems about softening, about being tender with the parts of you that learned to armour up.

Three

The Sweetness Returns

Desire after a dry spell, sultry and a little disbelieving. The love poems, the ones about being seen, and about staying open once you finally are.

Four

Snacks for the Journey

Small offerings to carry with you, short enough to keep in a pocket and return to on the days the way back gets long.

Read this if

You are ready to feel something again

You are coming out of a dry spell

Heartbreak, dullness, or a season that took more than it gave. You want words that meet you honestly before they lift you.

You have done the healing work

Now you want the sweetness it was all for. These poems are permission to stop bracing and let love come close again.

You keep a book by the bed

One page before sleep, one line you keep coming back to. Salt & Honey is built for exactly that kind of reading.
