What wisdom or solace would you share with someone who is just starting out on their spiritual awakening journey and thinks they might be going a bit nuts?
When I turned 60,I felt the need to ground my beliefs and knowing into something solid, something that would be my legacy. Then and there, I decided even if only for my grandchildren and family, this book would be my gift for them to have as a keepsake. As soon as I set that goal, then it transformed into an urge to send it out to the world as a reference book for living an Earthly Life as the spiritual beings we are. I also realized that one’s Saturn return every 30 years brings your mission to the surface. At 30 yrs old, my husband and I experienced a personal tragedy and at 60 yrs old that experience has shaped me and allowed me to share the voice from within.
That person is every person. Every human on the planet is here to share their light once they understand from the heart where they have come from and who they truly are. Most of us are seeking an energetic understanding without knowing it as it can only be felt not grasped with the mind. If, through my book, they felt a little relief, inspiration and a new awareness of their incredible journey.. then I know I have exchanged or awoken a code within them.
One sort of revelation in my book I was nervous to write, let alone publish, was the parts about my mystical experiences. It feels very raw and seen and a little overwhelming but I feel it helps to connect to one another when we do share these magical parts of us. Everyone has a story and that is what makes each of us so so special. Life is a storybook and we are the characters with some other beings making themselves seen i.e the Dragon.
I would love to write that I created a special place and setting to become an author but in fact, they were each written for a wellness retreat weekend I host each year. I do most of my writing at my kitchen table. Usually it’s at the last minute and goes until the early hours of the morning which is the way I seem to work. I've always loved stories and reading, my 21st Birthday present was a typewriter so I think this has been my mission for a long time. I have always loved writing words that soothe and uplift and combined with magical images that make the heart feel safe. All of them have been written within a couple of days and tested on my husband who always falls asleep to the meditations. I take this as a compliment!
Not really, there were moments when things seemed to be stuck with layout etc and sometimes frustration crept in but as my writing mentor and editor Emily is so so positive and understanding that she always heard me but never let me quit the process. Underlying is always the fear of being seen and my work being “out there” so I had to remember this isn't about me and if my book helps one person not feel so lost and scared in life then what an incredible gift for them, and worth all the doubt and birthing pains to me.
The greatest teacher has been my voice within that I have searched to connect with all my life. These stories came through me, helping me ground but also reminding me that this is my gift to share. I have always been able to speak to someones soul and connect with their hear. I have worked with many great healers and guides over the years but ultimately trusting your own intuition and wisdom is the greatest teacher
I hope everyone realises that to be human and in a physical body is such an incredible experience for a soul to have. To be able to embody our free, super powerful light into our physicality and meet it in every plant, ocean, sunrise and sunset. To have the choice to choose love over and over but to experience the opposite so we know how it feels. To recognise each other is on their own journey and has had many journeys, their gifts and abilities gleaned from lifetimes. To know feelings are our guidance and we just have to get the limited mind out of the way.
I finished it ha ha. I have a masters degree in procrastination so to complete this was quite an achievement and wouldn’t have been without Emily’s constant reassurance. Also now knowing I have allowed myself to feel free to write what is really within. There is still more to share but this has given me the confidence to be seen.
I think I have emerged more than changed. I always knew these stories touched people at a level they didn't know they had but I suppose to be brave and call myself an author is still perhaps uncomfortable but that is what this journey is about, freeing myself from those limitations. When I read the stories aloud or to groups, I feel at peace and as a child who wouldn't speak out and was excruciatingly shy, this is one of those aligned moments, so I know I'm here to do this plus other gifts as a Gridwalker and Lightworker.
I wish someone would ask me: Hey Jennie, do you think you had help from any Ascended Masters or Star Races to complete these stories ? And I’d say: yes, I believe these stories are woven through my many lifetimes and came through with help from Mother Mary and Jesus, a little Merlin and many others. From Lemuria to Atlantis, Egyptian mystery schools and Essenes, these tales are a frequency I carry to help anchor the Divine Feminine back into the Earth’s energy grid.
I hope people read my stories and realize that it is actually simple to transform fear into love and know there is only one true emotion which is love. I hope to ignite a spark within each person to seek their own soul guidance, for we need each other to walk the path, to hold our hand once in a while. But let’s remember we really do have it all within us, and I hope this book through one story or all or even a phrase make you stop wonder.
The awakening to recognize that we are more than our physical bodies can be enlightening and frightening at the same time. We put so much weight on how we cope in the world and on the external that it can feel very overwhelming when we realise every thought you have ever had has brought you to reading this sentence. It’s only the beginning when you lift the lid and it can never been put back on… but the moments of pure joy along the way through synchronicities, people and creating are second to none. Take courage, because the road less travelled opens up to the most incredible view of life seen through the eyes of the soul!
